Another Church Story

ANOTHER CHURCH STORY

Another church visit with my then three year old son proved to be a memorable moment. During mass one Sunday the priest passed out little white candles. Each parishoner lit there candle and stood, holding it in front of them while petitions were said.
After, each attendee blew their candle out. I allowed my son to blow out mine. He then raised his little....very loud and distinct voice in song, which echoed throughout the quiet church, singing,"Happy Birthday to God!"
He turned a reverent moment into laughter. I guess even in church we can use a good laugh.
