Check out this news story about man who tried to flee the scene of the crime on a shopping scooter! Not only that but he was dressed in a hospital gown at the time! File this one under stupid criminals.

UNIONTOWN, Pa. -- Police say a Pennsylvania man in a hospital gown stole $50 from his ex-girlfriend at Wal-Mart, then tried to flee on a store-owned motorized shopping scooter.

Craig David Jr., 32, of Smithfield, was charged Wednesday with robbery and disorderly conduct.

State police Cpl. Chuck Frey says David had just been released from a hospital for injuries in a domestic dispute Jan. 1. Frey says David had been hit with a frying pan and table leg.

David was still in a hospital gown Tuesday night when he met an ex-girlfriend who agreed to pay for his prescription medication.

Instead, police say he grabbed $50 from her and scooted away.
David remained jailed Thursday. He does not have an attorney.

And a bad one, at that. Considering everything he does I can't help but wonder if this was possibly staged. He's just... so... BAD at it...

Out of Gas, Brains

Gas prices are going up again and that can only mean one thing – more gas station robberies.

Unfortunately, these two burglaries forgot to steal some gas along with their loot and ended up getting busted in the process, according to the AP.

They robbed a convenience store at knife-point and drove away from the scene, but failed to notice that the gas gauge was right on empty. I’m guessing that’s not the only thing they have failed at in their lives.

Police spotted them approximately a mile away from the gas station where they could have filled up on gas before they fled the scene. Something tells me they were empty to begin with.

Cops: Alleged liquor thief fills out raffle ticket

HARTFORD, Wis. – An alleged shoplifter with a bottle of whiskey in his pants decided to take one more gamble before leaving a Washington County liquor store: filling out a raffle ticket. But the gamble led police right to him. The man was charged Thursday with misdemeanor retail theft, resisting an officer and disorderly conduct.

After filling out the raffle ticket to win a ticket to a Slinger Speedway race, the 20-year-old also allegedly snatched two more whiskey bottles before he fled B&S Liquor in Hartford.

Owner Steve Jost said the store clerk saw the suspect fill out the ticket and wasn't going to chase him. The ticket box had been emptied the previous day, so the clerk opened the box after calling police.
